About Amanda

Amanda Rosenstock joined the Green Party of Canada in 2019. She took on major volunteer roles in the 2020 Leadership Contest, supported the 2020 by-election in Toronto Centre, and served as Deputy Critic for Innovation on Shadow Cabinet before running as candidate for the first time in Spadina-Fort York in 2021. She and her partner, Charles, moved to Ottawa in 2022 so Amanda could embark on a career as a policy analyst, first in clean technology and now in sustainable transportation. Amanda was the federal candidate in Ottawa Centre in 2025 and remains active with the Ottawa Centre EDA.

Amanda is passionate about getting more cars off the road and organizes with local groups in Ottawa to advocate for better public transit. She is a runner and participates in races in the Ottawa-Gatineau area.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, a Master of International Public Health from the University of Queensland (Australia), and a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School.
